^ XD Thanks Belle. I have a feeling a lot of peeps can relate to that one, lol :P.

Here's another for you guys. Hope you enjoy, and tell my what you think :).

Awaiting my hero, but will he ever come?

The fire burns
My heart yearns
For nothing else but you
The winds billow
My heart hollow
Empty without you
The rain leaks
My lips speak
Begging for nothing but you
The night wolves howl
My tummy growls
d**n pizza guy! Where are you?

Hah, thanks Belle. I didn't see it coming either when I was writing it, it just popped up *shrugs* XD. *Pokes Sproky's poetry thread* :P

Here's another poem. I don't call them cookies, usually biscuits, but who cares :P. As usual, feed back is welcome *nods* ^^.

Cookies! Loathsome in its own deliciousness… what ever the heck that means…

Cookies, cookies
The delectableness I’m tastin’
A munhin’
And a crunchin’
A crumb I’m never wastin’
Cookies, cookies
Fillin’ up my tum
A nibble
And a dribble
Every crumb is very yum
Cookies, cookies
The pack is getting light
A sob
I’ve been robbed
Of my delicious cookie delight
No cookies, no cookies
The plastic wrap, I see right through
A glarin’
And a starin’
YOU TOOK MY COOKIES, DIDN’T YOU?

I’m serious.

That was very cute and giggle worthy Azz ^_^ I was all *teh giggle at teh cute poem* And I know that sad feeling of having no more biccies in the packet and you look at who you think ate them all, and you're all 'you ate the biccies!' and they're all 'nah, you did' and then you're like '...oh yeah, that's right'.

Great poem ^_^

^ XD thanks buddy. Here's another one ^_^ it's a very special poem :)

A poem. About someone very special. <3

Old and forgetful
her mind and logic
have seeped through the cracks
of time and space
she sits by the window
glazed eyes open
soft cheeks curved curiously
with her thinly creased lips
she speaks to the voices
in her head
they tell her things
that make her smile
patterning her eyes with wrinkles
she rocks
back and forth
her hair frames her tiny face
always shining with a smile
sand paper fingers stroke the air
she feels the wind
it whispers to her
telling her good things
she laughs. Smiles
her voice carried by the breeze

:) I hope you like it <3.

That was a remarkable poem, Azz. It was very touching. The imagery of the wind and breeze and whispers gives it a very wistful, magical quality to it. You convey so much emotion so vividly and succinctly, it's amazing. Well done, Azz.

Thank you Sporkster <3. I modified that last one a little, and entered a poetry competition with it a few months ago, btw :)

Shhh...

You have brushed this ground before
so familiar
shhhh...
your dusty corners
light a path in my mind
leading to powdered memories
why won't you show yourself?
what are you hiding?
my being drinks the deep shadow
cast by your figure
here, I wait for your petal to fall
for your grace to whisper in my ear
perhaps
if I dream tonight
I will unravel your parcel
freckle my mind with something true
something from you
shall I move forward?
Shhh...
let the time leak by
let my hat fall
and I shall breathe.

Just made that up as I sat here. Feeling kinda wierd at the moment *nods*.

Nobody cares unless it's a soap opera, hun.

Libby lay on the chair
the cushions moulding to her body
like dough
spewing out words
laying out her insides on a long
toilet paper roll
that seemed to have carpeted the floor
in thick layers
all the while
the shrink scratched pen on paper
drawing a magnificent picture of
a badly proportioned dog
analysing her life
Libby explained
about her boyfriend
the boy with the gorgeous blue eyes
the boy all the girls drooled over
the boy she met at the party
the boy that whispered in her ear
breathing out warm words with his sour breath
making her blush and giggle
the boy that promised her everything
gold studded earrings
and a sparkling bracelet to match
kisses that made her heart swell
her knees rattle
Love
love, he promised that, too
he never promised the baby, though
that wasn't in the contract (who ever pays attention to fine print?)
he never promised leaving
a cloud of dust left in his sudden absence
that wasn't what he whispered in her ear that night
the dog now had an abnormally small left ear
his mouth askew

I love your poetry style, so absurd and surreal but so honest. It's like the truth of a situation can be best explained by the most bizarre of exaggerations. I wonder, does the dog having an abnormally small left ear mean that Libby isn't a good listener? *goes back to analyzing*
